David pointed out to me a quick short URL app that was just released in App World called Google URL Shortener. The small app simply adds a new menu item in the BlackBerry Browser allowing you to create a shortened URL using Google’s shortening service. That will create URLs Read the Rest of the story [...] There have been a few PlayBook apps that have done similar things in the past but this latest Android port works relatively well and is free. Offline Reader by Lightful Designs simply lets you punch in a website address and it will save Read the Rest of the story [...] Secure Browser for the Playbook just got a nice little update. If you are unfamiliar with Secure Browser, it is a light weight alternative to the native browser on your PlayBook that puts your security as its number one priority. It passwords your favorites, doesn’t allow access to your Read the Rest of the story [...] The popular Show Me the Images app has been updated by Kisailabs this week. The new update finally gives it BlackBerry OS 7.0 compatibility which they were struggling with for awhile. As a reminder Show Me the Images makes images download automatically in Read the Rest of the story [...] The new WebKit browser in BlackBerry 6 is light years ahead of the current generation BlackBerry browser. Many users are curious to know how it stacks up against the competition which is also sporting the WebKit browser.
