Along with claiming more than 200 million users worldwide, Viber’s also taking this day to announce what it is referring to as the biggest update to the service yet. BlackBerry just updated their Facebook app for BlackBerry 10 with a nice and vague change log. This update supposedly packs “performance improvements” which are always nice to see. Let us know if you spot what performance has been improved.
BlackBerry has decided to bring Windows Live Messenger to BlackBerry 10 even as Microsoft tries moving people off it. Microsoft is trying to get users onto Skype though that is not happening as fast as they would like. Thankfully we have both options now on BlackBerry 10. The BlackBerry Q10 is hitting Canadian soil on May 1st and today the comeback carrier of 2013* announced apps that will be compatible at launch. The newest app, plus most anticipated, is Skype. In addition, BlackBerry stated in their “New-App Wednesday” mailing list that Facebook, Foursquare, LinkedIn, Twitter, Nobex Radio, Box, Dropbox Read the Rest of the story [...] Blaq was finally released this week for the BlackBerry Z10, and after just one day of playing with it, I’ve already decided that no other Twitter app, including the official one that is integrated into the almighty Hub, deserves a spot on my phone. LinkedIn has updated their BlackBerry smartphone app with a small version bump this weekend. The new version 2.1.0.37 improves the contact synchronization along with a few other bug improvements.
