The free Pandora music streaming app for BlackBerry smartphones yesterday was updated to version 1.1.12. This update is a small jump from version 1.1.11 and only includes minor bug fixes and enhancements. Here’s the app’s description for those of you that aren’t familiar with the service:
Back in the day, I used to be a fan of the Grooveshark streaming music service. They even had a beautiful BlackBerry app to go along with it, and I even signed up for their premium offerings but it got to a point where Grooveshark and I were no longer friends. Not satisfied with the native BlackBerry Media Player, he compiled a list of what functions he wanted from a media application and then got to work. The result, TOMPlayer, [T]he[O]ther[M]ediaPlayer.
The UI is simple Read the Rest of the story [...] There are several options for streaming music on your BlackBerry, one of the newest being Rdio. Developed by the creators of Skype, Rdio is cross-platform and packed with great features including playlist and people support as well as music caching for when you are away from wifi or have no signal. Nobex has updated their hugely popular streaming app with BlackBerry Messenger integration along with connections to the native Twitter and Facebook apps. Now its easier than ever to share what you are listening to with friends. Now a days it is very important to many to watch what they are eating, and to ensure that they are getting the proper amount of nutrients during the day, and without having intense knowledge about it knowing what to eat and what to substitute can be a bit difficult. At the Read the Rest of the story [...] Pandora has been rolling out the incremental versions like clockwork. Around the end of the month they start rolling out an incremental build that hopefully fixes bugs in the app. I am really liking how table both Pandora and Slacker have become recently so kudos to them.
