Poynt has finally been made available for BlackBerry 10! I can’t tell you how happy we are to see this one come to the BlackBerry 10. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Poynt, this app is one of those free apps that’s a treasure trove. Find the nearest restaurants, Yellow pages, Read the Rest of the story [...] I was looking for a compass app for my PlayBook and happened to get an email from Skylabs about their updated Compass Pro app. Their Compass Pro app is available both for the PlayBook and BlackBerry smartphones but the native compass on my Bold 9900 does fine. On the Read the Rest of the story [...] Wikitude has updated their popular augmented reality world browser to v7.1 today. Sadly they do not have a change log for this update but I am hearing it might just be a bug fix. Check out the latest v7.1 of Wikitude Read the Rest of the story [...] If you are attending BlackBerry World 2012 or BlackBerry 10 Jam I would recommend downloading the latest Foursquare v3.9.1 update we just mentioned. It adds NFC support if you have an NFC enabled BlackBerry. This is key because according to Foursquare RIM is going to be using the NFC Read the Rest of the story [...] Before we talk about the YellowPages app, let us say “please get rid of your giant waste of space YellowPages book.†Does anyone know what purpose that big yellow book serves other than as a door-stop? The future of YellowPages is web and mobile and the BlackBerry app has taken a huge step in the Read the Rest of the story [...] Every year over 300,000 children are abducted in Canada and the US. This statistic is both heartbreaking and frightening, especially if you’re a parent. It’s always nice to see developers of popular applications updating their apps for the better good of the world, and this is one of those occasions. |
