BlackBerry Bridge just received a nice update to version 3.0 in BlackBerry World. In the past these updates normally happen before an PlayBook OS update. We are hopping to see BB10 on the PlayBook tomorrow but I fear is not likely to happen. There is no change log on the update but if Read the Rest of the story [...]

Last week Hyundai let us know that they are working on a BlackBerry application to work with their Bluelink in-car technologies, and now GM has officially stepped into the ring with OnStar. Today those with an OnStar enabled Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick or GMC that live in the USA will be able to Read the Rest of the story [...]
I must admit, it isn’t very often I browse through the ‘latest apps’ section of BlackBerry App World and get excited about a new edition with no reviews. However, today was an exception as I spotted an application called Test de debit DeGroupTest (roughly translated to “Throughput Test”) which Read the Rest of the story [...] Viber, a free call and messaging application, has arrived on BlackBerry in beta form. The app has been available for both iOS and Android for a while and now is finally on the BlackBerry platform as well. The app currently allows for free messaging (text and photo) to other Read the Rest of the story [...] David pointed out to me a quick short URL app that was just released in App World called Google URL Shortener. The small app simply adds a new menu item in the BlackBerry Browser allowing you to create a shortened URL using Google’s shortening service. That will create URLs Read the Rest of the story [...] |
