BlackBerry just pushed out another update for the PlayBook this week giving it some fresh OS love. This new update improves in app payments and text messaging over BlackBerry Bridge according to the change log. It also changes the name of BlackBerry World from what I noticed. As of December Read the Rest of the story [...] The BlackBerry PlayBook OS has been updated today to version 2.1.0.1314. It’s a small update at just 37mb with support for AIR and Flash for developers. You can expect the usual tweaks and fixes to go along with this one as well. RIM has Read the Rest of the story [...] We have known for awhile now that an update to PlayBook OS 2.1 is coming very soon but now RIM has come out and confirmed it themselves. In their announcement for the updated BlackBerry Mobile Fusion Service Pack 1 they noted that “Updates for BlackBerry Device Service that involve functionality Read the Rest of the story [...] Research In Motion has officially released OS 2.0.1.668 for the BlackBerry PlayBook. Now apparently, we are hearing that version 2.1.0.560 will be the ‘stock’ OS for the BlackBerry PlayBook 4G. Anyway, this update is also a maintenance update from what we are hearing. There is no change log from Read the Rest of the story [...] The word coming from BlackBerry World is that PlayBook OS 2.1 will arrive at the beginning of summer. Brad from BerryReporter learning during a BB10 session that a Dev. beta build should be out towards the end of the month for devs to get their applications ready. The public release is Read the Rest of the story [...] RIM just announced the release of OS 2.0.1.358 for the BlackBerry PlayBook, the OS we reported that was in carrier testing a few days back.
