Over the last year or so RIM has been pushing hard to develop an ecosystem of BlackBerry developer groups around the world. On Saturday, India Today reported that the India government is getting its way when it comes to tapping into BlackBerry devices. I sure hope RIM handles this clearly with the remaining global media sources who haven’t yet written about this. So you want to use BlackBerry Messenger to send text messages, do you? I don’t blame you. BBM is an excellent place for keeping up with the people you message most frequently. Chat threads are saved and easily continued. Contacts can be split into different categories like “work” and “family” and Read the Rest of the story [...] Since RIM started App World I have been asking for them to share some developer success stories. Even better would be adding rankings and badges for developers on App World sort of like eBay’s feedback rating system.
