The app updates continue to roll out! Besides for the bunch of updates I’ve already mentioned today and this week, BBM Music was also updated to version 1.1.0.17. When I first heard of BBM Music I really liked the idea. The concept of social music appealed to me and I actually was proud of my selections. The problem I have with the service stems from something I mentioned during our interview with BBM Music Senior Project Manager Nick Patsiopoulos. Read the Rest of the story [...] I’m guessing that BBM Music hasn’t taken off as well as Research In Motion had hoped it would. In my opinion, one reason that it hasn’t is the fact that (like many of RIM’s apps) it’s not been made available in enough countries. That was relatively quick for RIM. RIM just let us know that BBM Music is now out of beta and will be available in App World starting later today at this link.
