Foursquare has updated their BlackBerry smartphone app this week to v5.5.8. This is a small update but supposedly includes an important fix for location information. Earlier this week the New York Times wrote an article that takes a few hits at BlackBerry and its image in the mobile market by BOLDly calling it the “The BlackBerry as Black Sheep!” Many of the individuals in the article that have or used to have BlackBerry devices Read the Rest of the story [...] It seems like RIM want to make writing articles for BerryReview easier from BlackBerry devices. Engadget spotted a new patent filing from RIM for a “System and method for automatically drafting a blog entry.†RIM describes this invention as: There is disclosed a system and method for automatically drafting Read the Rest of the story [...] Bloomberg is reporting that IBM (IBM) is currently weighing considerable interest in Research In Motion’s (RIMM) enterprise services. This could include RIM’s network infrastructure the company uses for BIS and BES delivery, device to device encryption, network compression, and much more. Spotify officially came out of beta for select BlackBerry devices about a month ago. Now they have released a new update in App World though they neglected to provide a change log.
